Tāmaki Regeneration Programme
Role:
Client:
Tāmaki has seen the largest urban regeneration project in New Zealand, creating a thriving, attractive, sustainable and self-reliant community for residents of Auckland’s Glen Innes, Panmure and Point England.
The Tāmaki Regeneration Company, responsible for the development, was seeking ways to communicate various messages throughout the development areas – messaging about upcoming works, activating a community space, temporary directions or interpretive information.
DallowBoss was commissioned to consult with the regeneration team to identify opportunities and define requirements. A ‘transitional’ wayfinding system has been conceptualised to perform the various tasks and cope with expected changes during ongoing developments. It will fill some gaps before more permanent Auckland Council and Auckland Transport signage is in place.
