Auckland Council
Te Auaunga Oakley Creek is one of Auckland’s longest urban streams, flowing 12kms from Hillsborough to the Waitematā Harbour.
As part of wide ranging efforts to improve the health of the waterway and enhance various spaces along its route, DallowBoss was engaged by Auckland Council to create a series of thirteen ‘distance markers’ to help identify the significance of the stream.
The 2.4m high pou-like structures stand proudly at kilometre separations alongside pathways, and hold stainless steel wraps that present an overview of the stream’s course, length and your location on in.
