MTG Hawke’s Bay

Role:

Wayfinding Consultation, Strategy & Design

Client:

MTG Hawke’s Bay, Napier City Council

In July 2010 the Hawke’s Bay Museum and Art Gallery closed its doors as it embarked on a significant redevelopment and rebranding project to repackage, refurbish and re-present its wealth of historical content.

DallowBoss was engaged to provide consultancy services and subsequently develop a full wayfinding strategy to bring together the three inter-connected buildings, ensuring visitors had a seamless journey. We collaborated with Beehive Creative to detail the building and wayfinding signage, along with mapping for their printed collateral.

Reopening in September 2013 as MTG Hawke’s Bay, the Museum, Theatre and Gallery continues to show off its treasures.
