Auckland Botanic Gardens

DallowBoss was commissioned by Auckland Council to review, rationalise and align wayfinding provision at Auckland Botanic Gardens. In close collaboration with the visitor experience team and Council’s design team, we have been providing consultation, planning and design services to tie in with their programme of physical works and rebranding.
The aim has been to present highly visible vehicle and pedestrian information that conveys the garden’s offering, identifies collections and highlights a system of looped routes that visitors can explore.
The job’s not done yet. A suite of temporary signage is in place, installed for the opening of the Pacific Pathway – a new route taking visitors through the heart of the most significant collections at the gardens – with permanent elements soon to be in production.
